Beautiful Hair, Beautiful Bride - Best day of your life!
It’s all about you, it’s your big day, and you will be STUNNING !!!
"I’ll help transform you into the beautiful bride you've dreamed of being."
I'm Bev Ryrie, a well-known wedding hairdresser and mobile hairdresser, making brides happy in the inner western suburbs of Melbourne including Williams Landing, Point Cook, Yarraville, Werribee, Tarneit, Seddon, Newport, Williamstown, Altona, Hoppers Crossing and Truganina.
I know this is one of the biggest days of your life and I’m very happy to be a part of it.
I do recommend a hair trial appointment. Definitely, have one for yourself and maybe include a bridesmaid. That way you can relax on your wedding day, knowing what to expect your wedding hair to look like and also, keeping the hairdressing part of the day totally stress-free. The last thing you want is to be making big decisions about your hair at the last minute.
You’ll most likely have a wedding hairstyle in mind or have hairstyle pictures to show me. If you don’t that’s okay I can come up with plenty of ideas. There are plenty of photos of formal hairstyles on my website to get some ideas from too. You might want a hairstyle that is totally different from everyone else’s. Some people want different types of braids. That’s good too. I love getting creative. Either way, together we'll make sure your hairstyle suits you, your dress and your hair accessories.
Important Wedding Hair Tips
Please see these tips as friendly, helpful words of advice that will help the hairdressing part of your day run smoothly, whether you're having a mobile hairdresser come to you or whether you're going to a hair salon.
blow wave - please wash your hair on the day of the trial or wedding. I will spray it down with a water spray before I do your hair.
hair up, curls - please wash and blow dry your hair the day of or the night before the trial or wedding - or ask me to come and do it for you as an extra
blow dry your hair smooth - when washing and drying your hair for a hair up, your hair must be blow-dried totally smooth and bone dry. It should not be frizzy or damp and should not be left to dry naturally.
don't change your shampoo or conditioner the week of the wedding unless you've been advised to by the hairdresser.
don't use any leave-in products like conditioner before a formal hairdo Where products are needed I’ll use mine.
no heavy conditioning treatments a week before your hairstyle - your hair will be too soft and the hairstyle may not be as successful
wear a sensible top – one that undoes and doesn’t have to be pulled over your head, also without anything bulky around the neck like a hood or big collar
have photos taken of your trial hairstyle and take them with you to the hairdresser on the wedding day. (I'll take photos with my camera and store them)
before getting married make sure your hair colour, haircut or perm has been refreshed.
if any of the wedding party is running late inform the hairdresser in case the order of the clients needs to be changed to get everyone done on time
if any of the wedding party has nits inform the hairdresser!!!

More about your wedding
*There are many wedding venues to choose from but where do you start?
Growing up and working in Werribee as a mobile hairdresser for many years I thought I’d mention the famous Werribee Park Estate which was built between 1874 and 1877 by pioneering pastoralists Thomas and Andrew Chirnside. It was opened as a tourist attraction in 1977 and is run by Parks Victoria. Situated 40 km from Melbourne in Werribee South, the sections of Werribee Park with wedding features include:
Werribee Park Mansion – Surrounded by manicured English gardens, facilities include 3 reception venues being The Theatre, The Pavilion and The Marquee. It also includes Josephs Restaurant and Bar, The Spa, pool and gym. Offers wedding packages and accommodation packages.
Victoria State Rose Garden – It is located adjacent to the mansion at Werribee Park and entrance is free. Weddings and other open air functions may be booked through Parks Victoria.
Werribee Park Open Range Zoo – Celebrate your wedding among the wildlife. Exchange vows in the Secret Garden or on the Gorilla Viewing Platform. They offer wedding packages and unique animal experiences.
Shadowfax Winery – Available for wedding receptions, alfresco dining is available, beverage packages are available. This impressive, contemporary building is surrounded by a picturesque 20 acre vineyard.
