Braids are such versatile hairstyles. You can have really sophisticated braids or really basic braids. You can opt for a perfect, neat braid or a boho look. Boho is the new wave version of hippie glamour. Braids can be worn to formal events or just worn around the house. You can dress a simple braid up or dressit down to suit the occasion. You can just do so much with braiding. If you have different colours in your hair it can accentuate the braid even more.
You'll also see two half mermaid braids here - one on straight hair and one on wavy hair. Two similar looking braids are the waterfall braid and the feather braid. These braids are sometimes worn as young bridesmaid's hairstyles. There's also a twist lace braid going back from the sides of the head with curls at the bottom.
Many people love braids left partly hanging down
Here you'll see some formal braids and some fun braids. They include a fishtail braid and a twist braid. There's a twisted mermaid braid and a Dutch fishtail braid. There's also an interesting braid hairstyle which has a twisted edge Dutch fishtail braid at the front and a Dutch fishtail braid at the back.
You'll see a hairstyle which started as a braid and went into a ponytail. There's a fishtail braid and a French braid. There's a twist braid, otherwise known as a rope braid, going down the back of the head. There's a pull through braid in a ponytail and another pull through braid in a ponytail which has been pancaked out.
Some people prefer all of all hair braided up
One hairstyle here has some Dutch lace braids and hair twists all combined to make a beautiful hair up I couldn't really give it a name. There's also a lovely zig-zag Dutch lace braid. There's another pull through braid twisted into a bun and there's a sideways pull through braid.
